Solana is back
Solana has gained almost 50% 💸 in the last 7 days, bringing the Top Dogs to their knees. Yesterday, it overtook Polygon to capture the top 10 spot on coin market cap. Remember the days when Solana was in single digits, sitting at around $8? Well, now it's trading at $24.29 and is up 9.31% in the last 24 hours 🔝. Of course, this is related to the market and to Solana's new coin Bonk Inu, you've heard about it.
Hong Kong to drop a green crypto list
Hong Kong will soon publish a green list of assets for retail trading. In the best interest of every trader, the government will say what is good and what is bad 🤓. How convenient, isn't it? Don't forget that the government has its own goals and, as you remember, Hong Kong wants to become a very attractive place. So even if it wants to mess with international politics, we'll probably see some assets on this list that HK competitors won't. The government also said that the regulations will be made with the help of the public. All voices will be heard 😇.
FTX.US against SBF
Notably, the former FTX.US president, who left the company in September, is saying a lot of troubling things about SBF 🥸. Brett Harrison spoke out on Twitter over the weekend, saying he has always had a difficult relationship with SBF and has been quite isolated as an executive. He stressed that he was no match for FTX management and was trying to change that.
He said he felt enormous pressure not to disagree with Sam, and yet he fell for him, claiming SBF was the kind of person that has issues 😵💫. Yet he acted nice and kind to animals to begin with. You're thinking, why did Brett say all that now? Well, Skybridge founder Antony Scramucci said he'd invest in the new crypto trading software company led by Harrison. Some big investors will soon follow. At least Harrison managed to clean his image on Twitter🤘.
Lazarus Group moves $64m ETH
As a quick reminder, on June 22, North Korean hackers from the Lazarus Group stole $100 million from Harmony Bridge 👿. This famous group is closely related to the U.S. decision to ban Tornado Cash and jail its developer, Alexey Pertsev, as he was somehow guilty for the Lazarus Group, which likes to use Tornado Cash to mix crypto assets without a trace. So they took $64 million of ETH and ran it through Raigun over the weekend, then deposited and withdrew it from three different exchanges. Those 41,000 ETH are gone forever 🎣.
Conclusion: I don't know if you were active over the weekend, but BTC almost crossed the $21k mark - the biggest gain in the last 9 months. The fear and greed index moved to 50 greed, but lost a little again and is now at 45 fear. However, the greed phase will come very soon. Solana is also making strong gains. Kudos to all holders. Stay confident.
See you after the weekends, folks! Thanks for being with us.
