Craig Wright Loses Lawsuit Against Hodlonaut in Norway Over Satoshi Nakamoto Claims

So who did? Magnus Granath, who goes by “Hodlonaut” on Twitter, has won a lawsuit in Norway against Craig Wright, court documents revealed Thursday. Wright has long claimed he is the pseudonymous Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto—but Hodlonaut and many others have publicly challenged Wright’s claims. Hodlonaut filed the case in Norway in an effort to prove that the numerous 📲 tweets he published about Wright and Wright’s Nakamoto claims were, in fact, not defamatory—a way of getting ahead of a pending defamation case in the U.K.

Lucky for them. Tether announced that it plans to make its USDT cryptocurrency—the world’s dominant stablecoin 💰 by market capitalization—available at over 24,000 ATMs across Brazil.

“The difficulties and limitations imposed by inflation and a less-than-inclusive financial system have excluded many of Brazil’s citizens from being able to participate in the country's growing economy,” 💬 Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CTO, said in a statement. “Adding tether tokens to ATMs across Brazil provides the opportunity to include more people in the financial system.”

Binance US taps ‘most feared man on Wall Street’ for new investigations unit

United States crypto exchange Binance US has created a new “investigations unit” and tapped a former FBI special agent as its new head, with the aim of seeking out and stopping illegal ❌ activity on its platform. The “investigations unit” is a brand new unit within the U.S. crypto exchange, the firm’s head of legal, Krishna Juvvadi, confirmed and sees former FBI agent BJ Kang become the company’s first “head of investigations.”

The role will see him partnering with law enforcement, regulators and even other 💱 exchanges to seek out and stop illegal activity on its platform, Kang will also build an “investigations infrastructure” for Binance US. A very serious approach to the issue.

Conclusion: Kraken have blocked Russian accounts on their platform. The sanctions are in full effect. The question remains. Will these funds mostly flow to DeFi or will Russian users get out of crypto?
