3AC, here you are!

Kyle Davies and Su Zhu are not getting away with ignoring ๐Ÿ™… the liquidators. The court has finally sent subpoenas, so 3AC founders must provide all recorded info since the firm's inception. Bring on hard drives and price keys, my friends. Frankly, it was painful to watch the liquidators chasing the founders. Of course, no one knows exactly where they are. But if they don't show up within 14 days, we may see them behind bars ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ. I wonder if they have time for Twitter.

  Tether brings Yuan on Tron

Until now Yuan was live on Ethereum, and now it's launched on Tron. Justin Sun must be very happy ๐Ÿค . Onshore CNY is regulated by the People's Bank of China, while offshore CNY can participate in free transactions in the foreign exchange market. Tether continues its market expansion. How will the Chinese gov take it ๐Ÿฆ?

Ledger to bring classy wallet

Dubbed Stax, Ledger wallet was designed ๐Ÿ’Ž by iPhone co-creator Tony Fadel. Self-custody for all plus classy design - that's what a great product needs. It's the size of a credit card and can store up to 500 cryptocurrencies or NFTs. Connected to the Ledger app on your device. Powerful battery so you can charge it once a month ๐Ÿ”. It goes on sale in March 2023 and costs $279. Yes, it's much more expensive than other Ledger wallets. But just check it out.

Paraguay drops crypto bill

Leaving behind the dreams of crypto heaven ๐Ÿ˜‡. Choking the cheap mining. Who doubted it? Paraguay's president often said bitcoin mining is too power-hungry and not beneficial enough. The law would have passed if 42 voters had said yes. The bill managed to persuade 36 only. Still, Paraguay is relatively cheap for energy usage. And some were not sure that the country would be able to handle the load if the bill passed ๐Ÿง.

Fir Tree sues Grayscale

Fir Tree disagrees with the way Grayscale is running the Bitcoin Trust program. They're asking to lower the fees and provide documentation of affiliation with the Digital Currency Group. Fir Tree wants Grayscale to give up the fight with SEC to convert GBTC to ETH. Yeah, sure, Grayscale will drop the deal it's been working on for years ๐Ÿค“. The problem is that GBTC holders can't opt out. They can only sell it to another market player. The gap between GBTC and bitcoin widened to nearly 50% after FTX. And the Grayscale shares deflated ๐Ÿ“‰ big time over the year.

Conclusion: FTX seems to have made everyone wake up. If few people used to meddle in each other's affairs, now you see it for yourself. I'm not even talking about prosecutors. Despite the fact that crypto doesn't need a savior, everyone is meddling in one way or another. Don't forget about self-custody and take a closer look at the new Ledger Stax Wallet.
